Enjoy the warmth of a traditional wood-fired sauna, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take in the spectacular scenery. It's the perfect way to unwind after an active day, or simply enjoy a unique mountain experience in its own right. And not to forget a dip in the mountain lake :-).
Peer Gynt Sauna features two cosy, wood-fired saunas
Peer Sauna 1 and Peer Sauna 2
Each accommodating up to four adults. Warm, cosy and just the right vibe for a relaxing escape.

Warm up the sauna:
You light the wood-fired sauna yourself. Firewood and the necessary materials are available in and by the saunas, making it easy to prepare the sauna and heat it to your preferred temperature (to heat takes about 15 min in the summer and 20-30 min in the winter time).
Ice bathing in Lake Gålå:
When Lake Gålå is frozen—normally from December to May—the bravest guests can enjoy a refreshing ice bath.
An ice bathing hole with a ladder is available. All bathing is at your own risk and for adults only.
Prices:
Group or private sauna: up to 4 people: NOK 600 per sauna for 2 hours.
Individual: NOK 200 per person for 2 hours. Enter the number of people when booking and paying.
The saunas can be used either privately or shared, depending on the booking option selected.
